Who we are
A church that expects God to show up, and prepares as though He will.
Christ the Healer International Missions Movement is a Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered community committed to prayer, discipleship, and transforming nations through the power of the Gospel.
We began in Davao City with a conviction that has not moved since: that God still heals, that His Word still holds, and that the people He sends are ordinary. That is still the whole thesis.
What grew from it is a Sunday that runs in shifts, a Junior Church that meets before every service, and around twenty-five pastors who preach, pray, welcome, and stack chairs across the day.

Bishop Rodolfo A. Cubos
Bishop Rod founded Christ the Healer International Missions Movement and has led it ever since. He preaches most Sundays, and is a registered solemnizing officer, which means the marriages he officiates in this church are recognised by the state.

Mrs. Bishop Ruth Cubos
Called Mrs. Bishop by the congregation
Mrs. Bishop Ruth oversees discipleship and the women's ministry. She preaches from the same pulpit, and the work she carries is the part of a church that rarely photographs well: the follow-up after the altar call, the small rooms, the women who needed someone to notice them.

Seven things, stated plainly.
No church should make you guess what it holds. This is ours, in the order it is usually taught.
- God
- One God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ
- The Son of God, fully divine and fully human, who died for our sins and rose again.
- The Holy Spirit
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, in spiritual gifts, and in the Spirit's empowering presence now.
- The Bible
- The inspired, infallible Word of God, and our authority for faith and life.
- Salvation
- Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, by grace, and not by works.
- Healing
- We believe in divine healing for spirit, soul, and body as part of Christ's redemptive work. We pray for people, and we are glad when they also see their doctor.
- The Church
- The body of Christ, called to worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission.

Three hundred people were served in one day through the Love the Philippines Movement outreach: food packs, free blood pressure checks, free haircuts, and slippers for anyone who needed them.
We include this one because it was reported independently, by SunStar Davao, rather than by us. It is a fair picture of what the outreach work actually looks like on a normal Saturday.
