One mission: souls for Christ.
We are in the business of changing lives, for we are the move of God.
Who we are
Christ the Healer began in Davao City with a simple conviction: that God still heals, that His Word still holds, and that ordinary people are the ones He sends. That same conviction shapes every Sunday.
Junior Church runs before each service so children have somewhere that belongs to them. Around twenty-five pastors preach, pray, welcome, and clean up across the day.
Then the same thing happens in Toril, in Tagum, in Santa Cruz, in Carmen, and in Cebu. We are Spirit-empowered and unhurried about it, and we would rather you came and saw.

Our senior pastors
“From the Cubos family to yours, may our heavenly Father’s blessings be upon you and your family.”
Bishop Rod Cubos and family
Bishop Rodolfo “Rod” Cubos founded Christ the Healer International Missions Movement and has led it ever since. He preaches most Sundays.
Mrs. Bishop Ruth Cubos serves as Associate Pastor and oversees discipleship and the women’s ministry. She preaches from the same pulpit. They pastor this church together, and have from the start.
The work this movement is known for
Ten thousand transformed lives a year, in the ministry’s own accounting, come through Divine Appointment.
Eight thousand people are baptised here in a year. They go into the water together, in the name of Christ.
Teaching on what Scripture says is coming, held on the promise of Matthew 24:14: that this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached to every nation, and then the end will come.
Ways to belong
Ages 0 to 12. Junior Church meets before every service, with worship, Bible stories, and room to be a child.
ExploreAges 13 to 30. Teaching that takes their questions seriously, and friendships that outlast a semester.
ExploreStanding in the gap for the church, the city, and the nations. This is the room the rest of the ministry rests on.
ExploreLocal outreach and cross-cultural missions. The word “international” in our name is a commitment, not decoration.
ExploreFeeding programmes, medical missions, and barangay visits. In June 2024 one outreach reached 300 households in Brgy. Tambobong.
ExploreMusicians, singers, and the technical crew who make four services possible every week. Auditions are open.
ExploreWhat we hold to
We believe God heals spirit, soul, and body, and we pray for the sick with expectancy and with care.
Faith grows in company. Small groups, teaching, and people who will keep asking how you are really doing.
Real relationships, not a crowd that empties into a car park. You should be missed when you are not here.
The foundation, not the formality. Everything this church has done started in a room where people were praying.
We exist to carry the gospel outward. To the next barangay, the next city, and the nations after that.
Doing ordinary things carefully is a form of worship. It is also how four services run on time.

Giving keeps Junior Church running, sends outreach teams into barangays, and holds the doors open across seven districts and cities. You can give once or set aside something monthly.

Come as you are. Most people dress comfortably for Davao weather. Someone at the door will point you to a seat and to Junior Church if you have children with you. You will not be asked to stand up, introduce yourself, or give anything.
Yes. Junior Church runs before each of the four services and is built for ages 0 to 12. Children are also welcome to stay with you in the main service.
We are a Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered church. We hold to one God in three persons, the full divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ, the Bible as the inspired Word of God, salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone, the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and divine healing for spirit, soul, and body. The full statement is on the About page.
Yes, and we do it gladly. We believe God heals. We also believe He gave us doctors, nurses, and medicine, and we never ask anyone to choose between prayer and proper medical care. Our prayer teams are available after every service.
They are the seven appointed times God set in the Hebrew calendar: Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles. Each carries a meaning and each finds its fulfilment in Christ. We teach them regularly, and you can explore all seven on our Appointed Times page.
You do not need to be sure of anything to walk in.
